Solar Reference Cells from OAI are designed for calibrating the irradiance of solar simulators used in testing solar cells. OAI Solar Reference Cells consist of a 2cm x 2cm photovoltaic cell encased in a metal enclosure with a protective window and a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor can be either a Type-K thermocouple or a Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD). Standard reference cell calibration cycles can be set up by OAI’s calibration laboratory to insure that your reference cell maintains certification.
